Shiraz, a close associate from Armaghan and a key suspect in the case of murder of Mustafa Amir, claimed that the police pressed him to confess the crime.

During a hearing before the judicial magistrate Karachi Sur, Shiraz told the Court that the police had promised him a lighter sentence if he agreed to confess.

Shiraz clarified that he was not the defendant but an ocular witness to the crime, saying: “I saw Armaghan brutally kill Mustafa Amir, but was helpless at that time.”

He also denied any participation in the murder.

After its denial, the court rejected the request of the investigation officer to register the confessional statement of Shiraz.

Meanwhile, the Pakistani actor Sajid Hasan has strongly criticized police actions in the case of Mustafa Amir murder. He accused the police of coercing his son, Sahir Hasan, to provide a forced statement under coercion. Saxid Hasan referred to this as a “well -planned conspiracy”, claiming that his son had been taken as a hostage to manipulate his testimony.

At a press conference, Sajid Hasan revealed that his son had been physically abused in an attempt to force him to give a statement that aligned with the version of police events.

He questioned whether these repeated incidents aimed at his family were coincident or part of a broader conspiracy.
