- Salesforce states that 96% of developers are excited about the positive impact of AI
- The agent is democratizing access to coding, says the report
- The poor quality of the data remains an important barrier
Salesforce, a company that is immersing himself in the head in the world of artificial intelligence and the Agent, has a new research that suggests that almost all (96%) developers of a global survey are excited about the impact of technology on their careers.
More than nine in 10 (92%) specifically stood out how AI agents could help them advance their work, and AI is now seen as essential as traditional software tools for four fifths of the developers of the United Kingdom and Ireland.
In a blog post, the company wrote: “The arrival of the AFFEE provides developers the opportunity to concentrate less on tasks such as writing code and purification and becoming a more strategic and high impact work.”
Developers feel positive about AI
While many early concerns around artificial intelligence that threaten human workers continue to be vocalized, it is clear that AI is prepared to revolutionize programming to better democratize access to more powerful tools, improve efficiency and make careers in the sector more accessible to more workers, which helps connect the continuous skills gap.
Some cases of common use for AI include the generation of code, where developers can spend more time editing and adjusting elements of the code than writing it, and the optimization of the existing code.
“By automating tedious tasks, such as data cleaning, integration and basic tests, free developer liberating agents to change their manual coding approach to the resolution of high value problems, architecture and strategic decision making,” said Alice Steinglass, EVP and GM for the platform, integration and automation in Salesforce.
Now, about four out of five developers who use AI agents already use low and without code tools (78% in the United Kingdom, 79% in Ireland), and so many believe that low and without code tools have the power to democratize the development of AI (80% in the United Kingdom, 78% in Ireland).
Other commonly anticipated improvements include the speed and efficiency of application development, increased quality, creativity and problem solving.
Programmers are now urging their organizations to update their infrastructure to support AI agents, however, there are some obstacles too familiar to overcome first. More than two out of five (47% in the United Kingdom, 42% in Ireland) say that the poor quality of the data is a barrier to the implementation of AI.
