Andy Cohen crashed through the debate of the Trans athlete with Meghan McCain, Payton McNabb

Andy Cohen, the presenter of the interview program better known as the “Watch What Happens Live” face of Bravo TV, entered a debate on social networks about trans inclusion in women’s sports with Meghan McCain and former volleyball player Payton McNabb, who suffered brain damage when he was injured by a transgender opponent years ago.

Cohen began the debate when a post McCain responded. He praised McNabb, 19, as “incredibly intelligent, strong and brave,” as Cohen suggested that the adolescent was “villain” to transgender people.

“Surprised that it is buying the vilipendio of the trans community given the real problems that occur in this country, its previous ally of the LGBTQ community and the fact that it does not question affects approximately four people in this country,” Cohen wrote in a publication.

McNabb then responded to Cohen’s attack against McCain, calling his comments “factically bad.”

“Andy, calling for the protection of women’s sports, a ‘non -broadcast’ that affects ‘four people’ is not only derogatory, it is factically incorrect. Hundreds of female athletes have lost podium spots, scholarships and opportunities. My own injury was life. And even if it were a single girl, that is a large amount. This is a justice and security, not” vile “. McNabb.

Cohen then responded to McNabb, admitting that his original response was based on just a fact that was provided by the president of the NCAA, Charlie Baker, in December.

“The president of the NCAA testified under oath that of more than 500,000 athletes, he is aware of less than 10 trans members. That’s where I obtained my information,” Cohen wrote, referring to Baker’s statistics that was provided at an audience of the Congress on December 17.

Cohen did not take into account the athletes impacted in the level of high school, or at other levels of competition. Cohen has not responded since that last position at the time of publication.

His exchange with McCain and McNabb quickly went viral on Tuesday night, since many aligned to criticize the Bravo personality for their criticisms in a position that was destined to celebrate the 19 -year -old.

McCain responded, inviting Cohen to a deeper conversation on the subject while he gave the host more clarity about the McNabb situation.

“Surprised, you agree with violence against female athletes. Peyton suffered severe brain damage, just a story. You have my cell, always happy to speak privately or publicly in any of our programs because these conversations are reductive to make social networks,” McCain wrote.

McNabb suffered significant physical and mental injuries already long term in 2022 when it was fired in the face by a transgender athlete that could compete in a team of girls due to a policy established by the Athletic Association of the North Carolina High School.

McNabb could not compete in his final volleyball season, and said that his performance in softball was significantly hindered by his injuries.

McNabb will attend the joint discourse of President Donald Trump on Tuesday night, just one day after Senate Democrats blocked a bill that would have prohibited Trans athletes in sports of women and girls throughout the country.
