The second test of Ethereum for Pin – Delays?: Ethereum developers on Wednesday initially celebrated a seemingly successful test, the most significant update of the blockchain since 2024, in the Sepolia test network. However, hours after the test, Sepolia began to find errors. It was the second error test for the highly anticipated sicking update, which is designed to improve the efficiency, user experience and the Ethereum validator system. The problems have led to the calls of some developers that delay update. The sepolia test on Wednesday (March 5) was expected to be the final step before the launch of Pectra in the Ethereum principal. Initially, the test seemed to succeed, but later, the developers noticed empty blocks that were added to the chain. The Ethereum Foundation attributed the problem to “a problem with the deposit contract Sepolia permission”, which “prevented many clients from the execution layer from including blocks in blocks.” In other words, the problem arose from a specific erroneous configuration of the sepolia test, instead of a defect with one’s own sicking. In spite of this, the test has generated concerns about whether Pin has undergone sufficient evidence. The previous test in Holesky Ethereum Testnet also encountered configuration problems, that time caused by poorly configured validators. – Sam Kessler Read more.
Ethereum Foundation chooses new executive directors: The Ethereum Foundation (EF), the non-profit organization that supports the development and research of the Ethereum block chain, shared in a blog post that Hsiao-Wei Wang and Tomasz StaĆczak have selected as their new coe-executive directors. The news continues to the game of Aya Miyaguchi to become the new president of the EF. The leadership shake follows an intense debate between the community about the role of the EF in the ecosystem, since some have blamed the organization and its leadership of the prices of Token of Blockchain (ETH) that are delayed behind other cryptocurrencies, while the block chain attracted less new developers than its competitor Solana for the first time. In addition, former US researcher Danny Ryan shared that he would join Etherealize, the new project aimed at taking ETH to Wall Street. – Margaux Nijkerk Read more.
Bitcoin Layer-2 Bob and Fireblolocks integrate: Ehibrid Layer-2 Network The Bob mission of making Bitcoin the center of the Universe of Decentralized Finance (Defi) continues through its integration with the bonfires of the cryptographic custody firm. Integration means that the more than 2,000 entities that use blocks of fire will obtain access to the Bob Defi ecosystem, which has a total locked value (TVL) of around $ 250 million. These users can now obtain a performance in their BTC holdings through the Bob network, according to a COINDESK advertisement. – Jamie Crawley Read more.
Popular Crypto Wallet Metamask presents a new roadmap: Metamask, the popular autocustial cryptodalia wallet for the Ethereum Network (ETH), shared a large amount of ads last week, aimed at improving the user experience of its wallet. Part of Metamk’s renewed roadmap includes adding smart contract capabilities to your current wallet. At this time, Metamask is an externally property account (EOA), a type of wallet that is controlled by a public and private key. One of the main falls with EOA is that it is subject to a human error, which means that if you forget your private key, you lose your encryption holdings in that account forever. The other type of wallet that exists in Ethereum is the contractual accounts (CAS), which are controlled by the code and have recovery mechanisms and security verifications to verify the transactions. In a blog post shared during Ethdenver, the largest ethhereum conference in North America, the Metamask team said that “the accounts based on intelligent contracts allow us to solve a series of problems: allow new powerful uses of the assets it has, while improving security. When the user defines his terms of his own programmable account, we greatly expand how the user expresses his agency so that his own code applies.” One of these new features aimed at facilitating the user experience in MetamSk includes ERC-5792, which is based on its current characteristic, intelligent transactions. Under ERC-5792, or known as batch transactions, users can combine certain steps when it comes to signing transactions, such as “approve + exchange” in a single click, which means that they would save time and gas rates when placing those steps together. – Margaux Nijkerk Read more.
