VEHARI:
A massive ice piece fell from the sky in the 30WB town near Wazirabad, causing cracks on the ground and spreading pieces of ice several meters away.
The unusual incident occurred around noon on Thursday.
Ocular witnesses said the sky was completely clear, without signs of stormy climate, when the piece of ice suddenly collapsed in the lands of the local farmer Tajammul Hussain.
Hussain, who was watering his fields at that time, described seeing a heavy object falling quickly from above, which led him to flee with fear. Moments later, a strong impact was heard, resonating several kilometers away, attracting hundreds of villagers to the site.
The former president of the Market Committee, Abdul Hannan Budh, informed that the piece of ice consisted of large pieces of frozen material, which began to melt into contact with the soil.
The event has caused generalized speculation among the locals, and many wonder about their origins.
Experts suggest that such occurrences, although rare, could be attributed to meteorological or scientific phenomena.
Some believe that the object could be a “megacryometeor”, a large mass of ice that is formed in the atmosphere and unpredictably falls to unknown factors.
However, additional analysis is needed to confirm the exact cause.
