Islamabad:
The PTI senator Aon Abbas Buppi said on Saturday that the authorities have involved him in a false case of hunting five Gazelles Chinkara, who, according to him, do not exist in Pakistan.
“There is not a single chinkara in Pakistan, but there have been five cases of this type against me,” Buppi said while talking to journalists after attending a session of the Senate. “The case registered against me is based completely on lies,” he added.
The Punjab Wildlife Department registered a case against Buppi and another nine for the illegal hunting of Chinkara. Bahawalpur police then arrested the PTI senator.
Buppi told reporters that they told him that Ejaz Chaudhary would also be taken to the upper house, but the order of the president of the Senate was once again ignored.
The senator said during his imprisonment that he had not suffered a fraction of the suffering that Ejaz Chaudhary was forgiving. He said he would weigh a lot in his conscience if Chaudhary was in jail and he was in federal lodges.
“I made a decision of principles and asked the president of the Senate to cancel my production orders. Senator Ejaz Chaudhry is like a friend, mentor and a father for me,” he added.
He said he asked the president of the Senate to send him to Bahawalpur to face the case.
“In the police station where a charges was presented against me, there was a case of wheat robbery against PTI Shahryar Afridi. It is the price of loyalty to [PTI founder] Imran Khan, a price that has been paid and will continue to be paid, “he concluded.
