Islamabad:
Due to a decrease in oil prices in the international market, it is likely that the prices of oil derived products are also cut in Pakistan with the price of gasoline that is expected to decrease in RS15 to RS13 per liter.
According to sources, there is a great possibility that the government significantly reduces the prices of oil products at the local level during the next fifteen days. They said that gasoline prices can fall between RS13 and RS15 per liter, while diesel prices could see a reduction of up to RS11 per liter.
Ogra will prepare a summary regarding the adjustments in the prices of oil products and send it to the prime minister. In case of approval, the Ministry of Finance will issue a notification.
