The National Assembly session revealed that some Pakistani citizens have been presenting false titles, diplomas and work contracts to obtain visas for the United Arab Emirates (EAU), said Express News.

The session, chaired by President Abdul Qadir Patel, discussed the growing concerns about the limited emission of Eau visas for Pakistani citizens. During the time of the question, it was revealed that several people had submitted documents forged in their visa applications.

The Ministry of Foreign Affairs explained that some Pakistani workers had exceeded their visas, while others had been involved in political and criminal activities. In addition, some people found misuse of social networks platforms, contributing to the strictest scrutiny and the restrictions imposed.

In response, the senator of the Minister of Foreign Affairs, Ishaq Dar, declared in a written response that the Eau authorities had informed Pakistan that there were no formal visa restrictions on Pakistani citizens. He added that the EAU had introduced a five -year visa scheme, which requires applicants to provide round trip tickets, hotels, property reserves and a previous payment of 3,000 Dirhams.

This dissemination highlights the growing concerns about fraudulent activities in visa requests and the subsequent impact on the issuance of Eau visas for Pakistani citizens.
