- One in two IT leaders wants to address employee experiences this year
- 89% of companies need a digital review to benefit from AI
- Lenovo says that speed decreases, simplifies and first
According to a new research from Lenovo, less than half of the employees think that their current digital solutions of the workplace effectively support productivity, commitment and innovation, which raises questions about how organizations support workers.
Only one in three (36%) believes that their systems support the participation of employees “very effectively”, with half (49%) of IT leaders citing the creation of a productive and attractive experience of employees as a priority this year.
Despite the promises that artificial intelligence celebrates, Lenovo says that there is a lot of work to do before companies can completely benefit from technology.
Improve the experience of employees with technology
Four out of five (79%) IT leaders believe that AI will allow employees to focus on a more significant work, however, Lenovo says that an overwhelming majority (89%) of organizations must review their digital workplace to unlock the entire potential of AI.
Although there are some use cases for AI in collaboration tools, such as virtual co -author and translation in real time, technology has more value to unlock the creativity of workers, innovative work and problem solving through the automation of repetitive tasks. IA ideas also promise to rationalize workflows, improve efficiency and accelerate normal daily operations.
In addition, IT leaders are recognizing that a highly personalized digital workplace is essential (63%), but are struggling to pass beyond the current approaches of a unique size due to the lack of configurable devices and applications.
“Transforming your workplace is essential to use AI effectively,” said Lenovo Digital Vice President Workplace Solutions and GM Rakshit Ghura. “The AI changes the productivity rules, but to realize their potential, IT leaders must work together with their executive teams to rethink how AI can increase the value creation levers of their organization and competitive differentiation.”
Looking towards the future, Lenovo advises companies to simplify and personalize the experiences of their employees with personalized tools and workflows. The next step is to automate some IT processes to release resources for tasks of greater value, and then use a generative AI to promote greater innovation.
