They reported that six attackers were killed, and the operation of the security forces is still ongoing. Combat helicopters patrol the area, with flashy shots heard while the situation remains tense, they added.

Meanwhile, Interior Minister Mohsin Naqvi praised security forces for successfully frustrating the control point in the tank.

He praised the brave security forces for killing 10 foreign militants and recognized their professional abilities to prevent the attack, adding that the nation is proud of the experience of their security forces.
