Islamabad:
The founder of PTI, Imran Khan, has challenged the notification of the transfer of judges in the Supreme Court.
A petition against the transfer of judges in the IHC was presented under article 184 (3) of the Constitution. The petition argued that the notification of the transfer of judges in IHC is illegal and unconstitutional; Therefore, the notification will be declared as void. He also prayed to the court to approve an order, ordering to guarantee the independence of the Judiciary in the midst of the transfer of judges.
The petition asked the Court to grant an order for the implementation of the established principles described by the Court in the case of Al-Jihad Trust.
