A new Dune Awakening The trailer has been launched that shows the expansive open world planet of Arrakis.
The multiplayer Dune Game is just months away and to prepare for the launch of Funcom has released new images that provide a deep look at the open world of the game.
The video, which can be seen below, is immersed in how the exploration will be a vital characteristic. To survive and cross the desert planet, players will need to collect materials to make a shelter, their knitted suit and their first vehicle to cross great distances.
The footage also gave us a new look at the vehicle’s scan module, which can be used to search for resources in smaller areas, as well as how certain cliffs can be climbed to launch a survey probe that will reveal larger areas of land, shipwrecks and abandoned imperial test stations.
Together with vehicles, players can use Shigawire claw and suspensor belt to cross more difficult areas to reach and improve their vehicles with new modules.

In the final area of the game, the deep desert, players must be aware of Coriolis’s storms. These are fatal planetary storms that cross the map regularly and change the map ground.
However, after each storm, new resources and locations will be revealed that can then be explored to make maps to sell in the exchange to other players.
Dune Awakening It is officially launched on May 20, 2025 for PC through Steam. Although the game has been confirmed for PS5, Xbox Series X and Xbox Series S, there is still no launch date for the console.
Meanwhile, players can now download the official reference mode, which will allow Steam users to test their hardware and system compatibility.
The creator of characters is also available, and once a character is made, it can be saved and then import in the game in the release.
