The opposition announces to APC to address terror

Islamabad:

An alliance of opposition parties has announced to organize a “great conference” to remedy the problem of terrorism, which has raised its ugly head with a growing frequency in the provinces of Baluchistan and Khyber Pakhtunkhwa in recent months.

On Friday, Tehreek Tahaffuz-EAE-Pakistan leaders went to a press conference in Islamabad asking for an evolving national consensus on the issue of terrorism.

Speaking on the occasion, the head of the Alliance, Mahmood Khan Achakzai, said that the government formed on the basis of a manipulated election was unable to address the crisis. “As head of the opposition alliance, people urge the helm to be resigned. It is necessary to hold a conference of all interested parties,” he said.

He said that the “manipulated elections” of February 2024 and the government on their basis were responsible for the current situation. “The only remedy for the crisis is an APC [all parties conference]”

The lawyer Gohar Ali Khan, the Nominal Chief of the PTI, condemned the kidnapping of March 11 of Jaffar Express for terrorists, and added that security forces avoid another APS attack such as the tragedy by taking rapid measures to rescue the hostages.

He regretted that the PTI was being criticized for his alleged position on the attack only on the basis of some publicly shady social media publications.

SIC Chief Hamid Race said there was anarchy in the country in 24 hours after attack. He asked who was responsible for that anarchy. “Was the Minister of Defense? [Khawaja Asif] Or someone else? “, Asked.

He said that the dialogue was the only way out and, therefore, the opposition had decided to organize a “great conference.” He said that the opposition wants to guarantee the territorial integrity of the country and wants to see what progresses. “This is also the desire to [PTI founder] Imran Khan, “he added.

PTI leader Asad Qaiser said the Jaffar Express incident was a security period. “If you had moral courage, you would accept this fact,” he added.
