The opposition tear the government for ‘ignoring Baluchistan’

Islamabad:

With the theme of Baluchistan dominating the discussions in the National Assembly, the lower house on Friday saw burning exchanges as the parliamentary leader of PTI, Sartaj Gul, ventured into the government for its terrorism management and the deteriorated security situation in the province.

During a debate about presidential and Baluchistan discourse, Gul expressed a deep sadness for the terrorist attack of Jaffar Express, who claimed the lives of several passengers and security personnel.

He lamented that, although the operation against the attackers was successful, terrorism continued out of control despite the fact that the Interior Ministry was full of half a dozen ministers.

“When the routine agenda was postponed yesterday, we expected the ministers to take the subject seriously. But instead of discussing Baluchistan, they dedicated themselves to personal attacks,” he said.

Sartaj Gul accused Defense Minister Khawaja Asif to use the floor to point to PTI instead of addressing the crisis in Baluchistan. “The Minister of Defense, who lost to Rehana to give, still occupies his position.”

The PTI leader said that the Minister of Defense often lectures others on morality and shame with the phrase “Koi Sharam, Koi Hati Hii”, a slogan popularized by the leader of PML-N, but told him that he applied more rightly.

Sartaj Gul’s strong comments occurred one day after the NA descended to chaos after the opposition was denied the opportunity to discuss the deadly attack against the Express Jaffer. The PTI had demanded the suspension of the time of questions to discuss the tragic incident.

However, on Friday, the NA finally yielded, approving a motion to differ the time of the question for the day.

PPP legislator Syed Naveed Qamar said it had agreed to celebrate the time of the question along with the debate on presidential discourse. However, the president of Na, Sardar Ayaz Sadiq, ruled that the session would continue with the postponed questions.

Speaking on the floor on Friday, Sartaj Gul also claimed that 10,000 Pakistani were deported from the EAU in just 16 months, while the ministers asked for floors in Burj Khalifa as bribes. “Instead of blaming PTI for everything, the government should show its own performance,” he said.

Denouncing the speech of President Asif Ali Zardari, said that amendment 26 coerced was an obvious example of anti -democratic practices. “Why did the president remain silent with the massacre of November 26?” She questioned, referring to the repression of the Government in PTI’s protest demonstration last year.

The government of the smallest provinces passed, asked: “How many times has the presidency opened to its doors to Baluchistan?”

He accused the president of exploiting Sindh’s water problems as votes while ignoring injustices in other provinces.

Referring to the founding president of PTI imprisoned Imran Khan, Gul said: “They tell us that we do not mention prisoner No. 804, but won the elections and is the only leader who can join the four provinces.”

He added that despite receiving a shot, Imran still stated: “This country is mine, and the army is mine.”

Meanwhile, the Jui-F Usman Badin legislator also condemned the “youthful behavior” of the assembly. “Yesterday, 70 -year -old legislators threw insults instead of discussing Baluchistan.”

He painted a gloomy image of the department of decades of the province, questioning why the young people educated now resorted to militancy and suicide bombings.

“Baloch’s youth once brought weapons; today, they are attacking bombs to their bodies. Ask him: who forced them to enter this?” He said, urging the house to decide once and for all how to address the Baluchistan crisis.

The PML-N Sheikh Actab legislator regretted the resurgence of terrorism, warning that Pakistan’s armed forces were making daily sacrifices.

“Nawaz Sharif convened a conference from all parties (APC) to combat terrorism. The time has come for all political leaders to feel together and find a lasting solution,” he urged.

“If our children do not get work, they will be forced to join militant groups.”

PPP Legislator Sehar Kamran echoed concerns about growing terrorism, asking for an anti -terrorism strategy similar to that formed after the APS attack.

She emphasized that education was essential to combat extremism, emphasizing the need to increase female literacy in particular.

The National Assembly session was postponed until Monday at 2 pm.
