Karachi: Due to the growing traffic problems of the city, the Karachi Transit Police has devised a plan in view of the strong crowd in the markets before EID Ul Fitr.

The Traffic Plan display a prohibition of the entry of taxis and rickshaws in several markets that have been plagued by overcrowding.

According to the new restrictions, the taxis, including those on guard, and the Rickshaws have been banned in Teen Talwar and has been advised to travelers who use Clifton Bridge, Race Course and Khaliq Uz Zaman Road.

The entrance of Taxis and Rickshaws has also been banned in the load that leads from Tariq Road to Ittehad Signal.

Similarly, these vehicles will not be allowed between Saddar, Fawara Chowk and Gpo and the singer Chowk to Zaibunnisa street and Jama’s fabric to Eidgah Chowk, as well as Hyderi Market Road.

The Transit Police has said that the traffic from the millennium will be directed towards NIFUE through the Millenium bridge, while the commercial traffic will deviate towards the University of owners of ships and Landi Kotal Chowrangi of five -star Chowrangi.

Meanwhile, the vehicles of the Board office will be diverted to the Kda Chowrangi, Zia Uddin Chowrangi and Pahar Ganj.
