Since its inception in 2020, YouTube Shorts has been the fierce Tiktok competitor in the content sector shortly, but from recently YouTube has had a little meeting with problems that many users have received. As reported by people on Reddit (see below), a new mistake automatically plays the Shorts tab as soon as the YouTube application opens.
The YouTube application opens to R/YouTube shorts
This problem has been quite inside and out of YouTube and has somehow resurfaced for more and more people in recent weeks. For many users, the application will open automatically to show its short tab if it was the last thing that is seen/ used, instead of opening the YouTube home page as it would.
However, according to 9to5google, there is an increasing trend in which YouTube automatically launches short regardless of what was seen above, and this is the case for both free users and for the subscribers paid by YouTube Premium. As it is, it is not certain if this problem is emerging for iOS users, however, 9to5google has noticed that Android devices, particularly the Telephone Nothing (3A) and Pixel 9 Pro Fold, have been victims of this annoying error.

Attend
There is no doubt that YouTube has contributed a substantial amount of attention by launching its response to the popular Tiktok short video feed, and even gained an advantage over it with a music remix function last year last year. But it is difficult to know if this error is a minor failure in the system, or a tactic for more users to travel on the YouTube Shorts Train.
How can you solve the YouTube shorts error
If you are an Android user who has problems with YouTube playing your shorts as soon as you start the application, then there is a way to change this. As recommended in the 9th5google report, open and stop strength, the application will not be enough to solve the problem, but delete its storage/ cache will help.
Although this is the trick to get YouTube to stop the automatic game of the Shorts tab when it opens the application, 9to5google says that the problem will return when the shorts are opened again. YouTube has not yet commented on its efforts to solve the problem, but we will update this story if any new information arises.
