NYT STRANDS TOVS (GAME #381) – THE ANSWERS
The responses to today’s threads, game #381 are …
- COVER
- FRAME
- STRINGS
- Hammer
- Pedals
- KEYBOARD
- Spangram: piano pieces
- My qualification: Moderate
- My score: 1 track
Today I took a clue to get going. The theme “Straight and great” immediately made me think of the pianos, but when I took advantage of the keys and it was only a word that I began to have my doubts.
The pianos always make me think of the British comedian Eric Morecambe, who had a great sketch where he played the piano for director André Previn. After Previn complained that I was not touching the right notes, Morecambe replied: “I am playing all the right notes, but not necessarily in the right order.”
The only thing I can play in the piano (approximately in the right order) is I just can’t have enough For Depeche mode and trust me, after hearing it once, that will be enough for you.
How did you do it today? Avise me in the comments below.
