The pilot program will equip teachers with IA -promoted teachers tools, will provide structured indications to guide teachers to develop relevant learning material for their students and offer bilingual support in English and URDU.
In addition, Khan Academy Pakistan will train school leaders in an effective IA integration, offering guidance on best practices to use Khanemigo in classrooms.
This initiative will allow TCF teachers to refine their teaching methods, customize learning experiences and promote significant discussions in the classroom, make the learning driven by AI more accessible, structured and attractive to students.
“In TCF, we want to make sure that technology serves as a bridge for better learning opportunities instead of a barrier,” Syed Asaad Ayub Ahmad, president and CEO of TCF shared.
“We hope that Khanemigo will be useful to serve as a thought partner for TCF teachers in the classroom and a transformative step to make high quality education accessible and attractive.”
One of Khanemigo’s most promising characteristics is their bilingual support, which allows teachers to instruct both in English and Urdu. This guarantees that educators of various origins can commit completely to the content. As the program progresses, the regional language support will be explored, further expanding its accessibility.
“Khanemigo aims to give each child in Pakistan access to world class education,” said Zeeshan Hasan, CEO of Khan Academy Pakistan.
“By empowering teachers, we make sure that AI becomes a tool for empowerment instead of a shortcut. This association with TCF is a step forward towards the transformation of how education is delivered in the classroom.”
“TCF firmly believes in the power of good teachers, and there is an undeniable social aspect of learning from a teacher. We hope that Khanemigo will increase the skills of teachers to make the experience in the classroom be fun, attractive and significant for students,” Shazia Kamal, executive vice president of TCF shared.
