- Razer has launched its PC remote games transmission service
- This allows you to transmit games from your PC to a mobile device.
- Comes with optimization characteristics and works with controllers
I love my PC for games, but it is not the most portable device in the world. At the same time, my iPhone 16 is not able to play the best PC games due to all kinds of compatibility problems. That is why Razer’s last announcement, the launch of his PC remote game system, aroused my interest.
According to Razer’s website, PC Remote Play allows you to transmit games from its PC to a mobile device such as an iPhone or an iPad, to hand -based game devices or a Windows -based computer. It is also compatible with a variety of mobile games controllers, while admitting keyboards, mice and trackpads when combined with a tablet.
Razer says that PC Remote Play can automatically optimize your games depending on the device and the screen on which they are played. Take into account the maximum resolution and update rate of your device, without blocking your games in a fixed appearance ratio.
When used on an Android device matched with a Razer Kishi Ultra controller, PC Remote Play can also add haptic feedback to the mixture. And it works with many of the largest platforms and libraries, including Steam, Epic Games, PC Jame Pass from Microsoft and more.
Air game games
I make my fair part of the mobile games, but I have never been really convinced to migrate away from my PC for games. Most of my favorite titles, such as Cyberpunk 2077 and Baldur’s Gate 3, do not have native mobile versions. Meanwhile, they have always cost more than I wanted to spend.
However, with something like Razer’s PC Remote Play, I can use my iPhone controller and existing games to play outside my desk (as long as it is inside the connection range of my PC, of course). Its optimization characteristics are cherry in the cake.
But will it convince me to spend most of my game time on my iPhone? Perhaps not, since nothing exceeds the experience of big screen PC for me. But if you are looking for a new way of playing on your mobile device without having to buy a expensive steam cover or a similar product, it could be worth it.
