- Mario de Mario KartFree Roam mode will have open world challenges
- Players can find ‘P’ switches in the world that activate challenges
- You can also discover collectible peach medallions and other hidden features
Nintendo has confirmed that Mario de Mario KartThe free Roam mode will have challenges and collectibles.
During the Mario Kart World Nintendo Direct today, they invited us to an exhibition of more than 15 minutes of the next Switch 2 launch title, offering a new look at the new maps and courses, the Grand Prix, the knockout tour, the new tricks and the free Roam mode.
Nintendo revealed free Roam mode during the 2 Direct switch earlier this month. It will allow players to drive freely around the multiple maps of the game, but in today’s transmission, it was revealed that the open world will not be as empty as I initially thought.
While driving around the world, players can find challenges and missions. In the footage, it is said that players can find ‘hundreds’ of ‘P’ switches that will activate the challenges, with one that assigns you to grind the rails to collect blue coins in the ‘Slackline course’.
It also seems that there will be timed races, as well as collectible peach medallions scattered throughout the world, hidden panels and more.
It makes me wonder if Nintendo will offer additional challenges after launch, perhaps in the form of downloadable content (DLC) or content patches.
Mario de Mario Kart It will be launched on the same day as the Nintendo Switch 2 on June 5, 2025, for $ 449.99 / £ 395.99 or $ 499.99 / £ 429.99 for a Mario de Mario Kart bunch.
The advance orders are now live in the United Kingdom, but the early orders of the USA and the anticipated Canadian orders have been delayed as Nintendo evaluates the potential impact of the rates.
