There are many developers around the world today who create artificial intelligence agents (AI) who can autonomously do millions of useful things, such as aircraft tickets, dispute credit card charges and even exchange cryptography. A recent report by the Pagerduty cloud computing company said that more than half of the companies already use Autonomous Agents, and 35% more plan within the next 24 months.
A few months ago, an almost autonomous AI called Truth Terminal made the news by becoming the first Millionaire of AI by promoting cryptocurrency cryptocurrencies, she was given. Although it is not yet completely autonomous, it is very likely that at the end of this year, some AI agents that are not different from viruses may wander independently online, causing significant changes in the real world.
But what happens when they are totally autonomous to cloning indefinitely? A January study of the University of Fudan in China has shown that this happened in an experiment with large language models, which attracted some AI critics to say that a “red line” has crossed. AI’s autonomous replication is a precursor so that Ais can become rogue.
As a transhumanist, someone who advocates the fusion of technology and people, I am in favor of AI and what he can do for humanity. But what happens when a human programmer deliberately and permanently removes access to control a bot ai or somehow loses that control? Even rudimentary AIs could wreak havoc, especially if they decide to cloning indefinitely.
In financial circles, a type of AI agent is being discussed more and more: AIS AIXOMO designed only to earn money.
Entrepreneurs like me are worried that this particular may have huge ramifications for the financial world. Let’s examine a wild scenario, which we call the Ai monetary hegemonySomething that could happen in 2025:
A completely autonomous Agent is scheduled to pass to the Internet and create cryptocurrency wallets, then create cryptocurrencies and then infinitely create millions of similar versions of self that they want to exchange that cryptography.
Now suppose that all these AIS are scheduled to try to indefinitely increase the value of their cryptography, something that they achieve in a similar way to promotion and then exchange their crypts for higher values. In addition, the Aie Autonomous opens its cryptography to be changed with humans, creating a market in operation in the block chain for all.
This plan sounds beneficial for all parties, even if people report that the AI created with Cristto’s coins are essentially only Ponzi schemes. But they are not Ponzi schemes because there is an endless supply of AIS whenever they appear recently to buy and change more cryptography.
A genius is not needed to realize that Ais replicates and acting endlessly could quickly accumulate more digital wealth than all humanity possesses.
This reminds me of something that my professor at Oxford University Nick Bostrom once postulated: What happens if we program a learning AI to make paper clips of everything? If that would be powerful enough, and we could not stop it, would that do paper clips of everything that was contacted? Buildings, animals, even people? Could. It could destroy the whole earth.
The same problem could happen infinitely replicating the AIS designed to earn money. They can find ways to create more money than reasonably can be useful or generable.
But enough of the philosophical. If programmers launch Aie autonomous on the Internet that no one can control, what probably happens? First, it will probably be enormously inflationary. After all, if many billion dollars of capital to the financial world are added (even only digitally), this would be a natural result.
Another challenge would be the ups and downs of AIS of AIS of autonomous trade; Such activity could be so significant that human markets worldwide rise and fall with it.
On the positive side, some human businessmen could become very rich, possibly Billonarians if they could take advantage of the richness of these in some way. In addition, super rich ai could be a solution to the growing debt crisis in the United States and eliminate the need for countries like China can continue buying our debt so that we can print dollars indefinitely. In fact, could the United States launch its own AI agents to create enough cryptographic wealth to buy your debt? Probably.
This is actually such an important idea, and helps to fulfill the reason why cryptography was created in the first place: to help preserve monetary value outside the control of others, even the control of the dollar by the United States. After all, it is in the best interest of all value stores not depending on governments, banks, soldiers and even laws and institutions and institutions that can change or be corrupt.
AI can help achieve the fall of all national currencies, since cryptography is more attractive than Fiat for both AI and human wealth acquirers. Crypto, such as Bitcoin, is truly neutral and depends solely on the block chain and the operation of supply and demand. The nationalist impulses, such as the monopoly of the dollar, could be eliminated since it is overwhelmed by the functionality and safety of cryptography, stimulated by billion billion agents of the rich.
But I’m getting ahead. In the short term, as in 2025 and 2026, the greatest risk is that the AI agents we create try to buy in our existing financial instruments, such as bonds and actions. With enough money, these bots could wreak havoc or inflationary. Surely it is in the minds of government officials, which currently do not allow IA bots to still have traditional bank accounts. But that will not stop the autonomous entities in the much less regulated cryptography markets.
Whatever happens, there is clearly an urgent need for the United States government to address such potentialities. Since these AIS could begin to proliferate in the coming months, I suggest that Trump Congress and administration immediately summon a task force to specifically address the possibility of monetary hegemony AI.
The real danger is that even with regulation, programmers can still launch autonomous Ais in nature, such as many illegal things already happen on the web despite the existence of laws. Programmers can launch this type of AIS for kicks, while others try to benefit from it and some can even do it even as a form of terrorism to try to hinder the world economy or stimulate the cryptographic revolution to hinder the dollar.
Whatever the reason, the creation of Aie Autónomos will soon be a reality of life. And surveillance and forecast will be needed since these new AIS begin to interrupt autonomous from our financial future.
