Fazl Slams ‘Collapse of the Law and Order’

Islamabad:

Chief Jamiat Ulema-E-Islam-Fazl (JUI-F), Maulana Fazlur Rehman, criticized the government on Wednesday for the deteriorated situation of law and order, warning that armed groups were “freely wandering” in Khyber-Pakhtunkhwa (KP), Balochistan and Sindh, which extended the public money.

Going to a press conference in Islamabad, Chief Jui-F rejected the bill of mines and minerals approved by the Baluchistan Assembly, and announced that explanations of certain legislators of the parties in the province who voted for legislation had been sought.

Fazl also announced that the party would organize Palestine solidarity marches on April 27 in Lahore, May 11 in Peshawar and May 15 in Quetta. He said that the Pakistani would raise their voice in favor of the Palestinian people, who faced Israeli barbarism.

The Jui-F Chief expressed concern about bad law and order in the country. “Armed groups are freely wandering in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, Baluchistan and Sindh, and are extorting money from the business community, while the government is not providing any relief,” he said. He claimed that the current government had not been able to protect the lives and property of people. “There is no government writing anywhere in KP. The situation in KP, Baluchistan, Sindh is indescribable. Parents cannot send children to schools, the business community is worried.”

He told journalists that the Jui-F-General Council rejected the Mina and Mineral bills of KP and Baluchistan. “Some of our members in Baluchistan supported the bill. The explanation has been sought. If the explanation is not satisfactory, their membership will be suspended,” he said.

On the occasion, he announced plans for large public marches in favor of the Palestinian people. “The people of Pakistan will raise their voice in favor of Palestine and will also participate in financial jihad,” he said.

In response to a question, Fazl said I had no intention of forming a formal opposition alliance, but added that mutual contacts would be maintained to solve masses problems. He also said that currently, opposition parties were not ready to form a great alliance.
