LAHORE: Hundreds of Pakistani joined the protests throughout the country on Thursday, even in Azad Jammu and Kashmir (AJK), to get angry at the Indian threats after a deadly attack against tourists through the played border.

Prime Minister Narendra Modi promised to pursue and punish the armed responsible for killing 26 civilians at Pahalgam’s tourist access point on Tuesday, accusing Pakistan of supporting “cross -border terrorism.”

The attack at the Indian Jammu and Cashmira illegally occupied (Iiojk) was the deadliest for a quarter of a century and marked a dramatic change with the guidance of civilians instead of the Indian security forces.

“If India wants to go to war, then it appears openly,” said businessman Ajmal Baloch AFP In a protest called by a religious party and assisted by around 700 people Lahore, where the main border crossing with India is located.

India has said that it will suspend the Indo Water Treaty, which shares critical water between the two neighbors with nuclear weapons, although it has no important means to restrict the flow of the downstream river to Pakistan.

However, the protesters, including Baloch, spread against the “unacceptable” threat.

“Water is our right and, if God wants, we will claim it, even if that means through the war. We will not go back,” said Muhammad Owais, 25.

Around 300 people wielding banners transported slogans against India marched through the main city of Muzampharabad.

“If India makes the mistake of attacking, the Pakistani purse will fight on the first line, we are ready to die for Pakistan,” said Shoukat Javed Mir, a main leader of the Popular Party (PPP) of Pakistan in the region.

In Quetta, the capital of the province of Baluchistan, around 150 people organized a protest.
