April 24, 2015 – Ten years ago today was the day the Apple Watch was launched. He changed the company’s alignment forever, marking the beginning of a convincing smart watch for the masses. In the following years, it made users try to close their rings daily. I am one of them, in fact, I have used an Apple Watch for ten years in a row from my original 42 mm Apple Watch Sport Watch.
While you can get a limited editing award today in your Apple Watch, if you are lucky enough to reach an Apple store, you can get a physical piece of the story: a pin that celebrates “Global Close All Your Rings Day”, and that looks very good.
Similar to enamel pins, Apple distributes developers in person on WWDC OA you can buy and then trade in Disney Parks around the world, this is a considerable pin adorned with colors and a graph that coincides with the limited edition digital prize.
Like the activity rings in your Apple Watch for movement, exercise and support, the design of the pin presents the colors to match: reddish pink, lime and blue green. You will see that you have crushed your goals and then some too. It also has a gold cut around the edges.
I went to the Apple store in Grand Central Terminal in New York City around noon, but unfortunately, there were no pins. Apple says that the pins are available in Apple stores while running out of stock, and all you need to do is upload an employee and ask for one.
While Grand Central was all out, an employee had the kindness of letting me see one of the pins that had ensured earlier in the day. He looks pretty lovely, and yes, it is something strange about Apple that you can write down. My colleague Lance Ulanoff managed to obtain one of Apple’s flagship store in 5th Avenue in New York.
Now, if you fail to reach an Apple store today or if your local place is already outside the limited editing pins, do not fear. It can, of course, complete the Global Close All Your Rings Day challenge in your Apple Watch and qualify the digital prize and some custom digital treats. Think of Imessage stickers that look quite delicious.
A quick look back
In 2015, I was at university, and I remember that I was waiting anxiously for the delivery of an Apple Watch sport of 42 mm silver. He was excited and excited to have secured a delivery of the launch day.
I put screenshots every part of the configuration process and even took some photos and videos on my iPhone 6. I remember using the smart watch around the campus, my first calls and even calling an uber of my wrist. It also helped me to be a little more active, a trend that Apple Watch still encourages me to do daily.
It is probably the most pleasant and shocking technology piece I have used. The evolution of a more elegant, more powerful and even, dare to say, the useful laptop has been something unique for, clock.
Ten years with the Apple Watch have quickly passed: I went from an original to series 3, then series 4, series 5, series 7, series 8, series 9 and, finally, series 10 and ultra 2. I also checked the SE and the second gene, somewhere intermediate.
I am still so excited about the future of the wearables as always, and I hope you eventually have even more independent characteristics. For now, however, Apple Watch is an excellent communication tool with some fun applications and a powerful monitoring of activities.
For those who wonder, currently use a series 10 and ultra 2 as daily drivers.
