Nike apologizes for the advertising fence ‘Never Again’ in the London Marathon

Nike was criticized Monday by a billboard that was shown at the end of the London Marathon.

However, the company, which has already faced scrutiny during the week about the reports of its alleged financing of a children’s transgender athletes, received a violent reaction for using a slogan that had links with the Holocaust.

The slogan has been used to warn the world to learn lessons from the Holocaust, in which Germany Nazi and its allies killed 6 million Jews, according to The Times of Israel.

Pershing Square’s CEO, Bill Ackman, directed Nike’s criticism.

The company issued a statement to the striker, apologizing for signaling.

“We do not refer to any damage and we apologize for anyone we cause,” said the company. “London’s advertising fences were part of a broader campaign entitled ‘Winning is not comfortable’, based on the ideas of the runners and designed to motivate runners to overcome what they think is possible.
