France accuses Russian computer pirates of French organizations

  • France has accused a group of Russian piracy from French attacking companies
  • It is said that the spying group has reached at least 12 organizations
  • Geopolitical tensions are exacerbating the problem

The French Foreign Ministry has published a statement that accuses the Russian cyber -cyber spying group APT28 (also known as Fancy Bear) of being behind at least a dozen infractions of French entities in the last four years, reports Bleeping Computer.

These attacks include incidents aimed at defense companies, government agencies and groups of experts. The French Foreign Ministry argues that they are destined to destabilize the State: a tactic that Russia has repeatedly used against the EU and NATO states, especially since the invasion of Ukraine.
