- The QNX report states that Robotics Market will be more triple by 2030
- Automation and production are the most common applications
- Despite security improvements, many report having experienced security problems
A new QNX research claims more than three quarters (77%) of global technological leaders Trust Robotics for essential functions in the workplace, and the future of the workplace could soon be more automated.
The report predicts that a fifth of the workforce could be automated through robotics in the next decade, with 71% of organizations that already use or plan to adopt robotics soon.
As a result, it is projected that the global robotics market will grow at $ 163.9 billion for the end of this decade, compared to $ 51 billion in 2024.
His work could soon involve more robotics.
The report added that managers observe mitigation and reliability and the performance of security and the performance of robotics, with emerging automation as the most common case (50%), together with production (46%), support (36%) and high -risk tasks (28%).
However, QNX highlighted different levels of comfort for executives who work along with robots.
The assembly (77%), the management of materials (73%) and the logistics/delivery (70%) are areas where managers are happy to introduce automation, however, they less feel comfortable with robotics in medical procedures (51%), customer service (55%) and maintenance (63%).
In addition, one in three (32%) says that workplaces are not prepared for robotics, and 29% have already experienced a robotic security incident. Three out of five (58%) also expressed security concerns.
“Trust is fragile and can be easily broken if robotics is built and implemented without the fundamental software necessary to work, safe, safe and reliable,” explained QNX vice president of the integrated general markets Jim Hirsch.
However, despite the doubt, it is clear that there is hunger for more robotics adoption, and 90% pointed out advances in technology and 86% added that better security drives them.
Looking towards the future, and with the artificial intelligence that already teaches us about the mixture of new technologies with humans, 92% feel that employees must participate in discussions surrounding the integration of robotics.
