The Federal Minister of Information and Transmission of Attaullah Tarar said Wednesday that India had raised the white flags along the control line (LOC), which he interpreted as an admission of the defeat after the recent hostilities between the two countries.
Speaking at a press conference at the Pak-China Friendship Center in Islamabad, Tararo praised the Pakistan Air Force (PAF) for a quick and proportional response to Indian air attacks. He said that PAF had demolished five Indian combat planes and a drone that had entered Pakistani territory.
The minister said that Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif was closely monitoring the security situation, and that the country’s political and military leadership was united in the defense of Pakistan’s sovereignty.
He strongly condemned the orientation of civil areas in Punjab and Azad Jammu and Kashmir during the Indian strikes, qualifying the “very unfortunate” law.
Citing Indian media reports, he said that even the segments of the Indian press had recognized the loss of military teams. He added that the Pakistani nation remained united behind its armed forces and had offered prayers for its success.
Tarar reiterated the long -standing position of Pakistan as a victim of terrorism, noting that more than 90,000 Pakistani had lost their lives in related violence. He also referred to Pakistan’s offer of an independent investigation into the incident of Pahalgam, an offer he said was rejected by India, which he reflected a lack of will to follow transparency.
He accused India of using propaganda to damage the international image of Pakistan and reiterated Pakistan’s commitment to regional peace and stability.
The general director of Public Relations between Services (DG ISPR), Lieutenant General Ahmed Sharif Chaudhry, confirmed on Wednesday that 26 civilians were martyred and another 46 injured in Indian air attacks during the night aimed at multiple civil areas throughout Pakistan.
Speaking during an informative session on Wednesday, the DG ISPR said that India carried out 24 air attacks in six different places within the Pakistani territory.
He said that 13 people were martyred in the area of Ahmedpur East of Bahawalpur. The deceased included two three -year -old girls, seven women and four men. In addition, 37 individuals were injured, including nine women and 28 men.
In an incident separated near Muzampharabad, a strike in the Bilal Mosque resulted in three deaths, while two children, a girl and a boy suffered wounds, he added.
Another attack occurred in Kotli, where he went to the Abbas Mosque. Two teenagers, a 16 -year -old girl and an 18 -year -old boy were martyred. A woman and her daughter were also injured in the same incident.
He also declared that no victims were reported in Sialkot or Shakargarh, although a dispensary in Shakargar suffered minor damage.
The military spokesman also confirmed that the Indian army firing along the control line martyred five civilians, including a five -year -old child.
The military spokesman added that India deliberately directed the mosques, describing it as a reflection of the extremist mentality of the Government driven by Hindutva of Narendra Modi, which, he said, systematically oppresses minorities, particularly Muslims.
He also said that Pakistan’s army knocked up five Indian combat planes and a combat drone in response to unpaved aggression and airspace violations.
According to the military spokesman, the demolished plane included three Rafale aircraft, a MiG-29, a plane from the her series and a garza combat drone with Israeli. The planes were demolished in multiple locations, including Bhatinda, Jammu, Akhnoor, Srinagar and Avantipur.
“The Pakistan Air Force hired these planes only after carrying out attacks against the Pakistani territory,” said DG ISPR. “His aggression went to the territorial integrity of Pakistan and a civil life in danger of extinction,” he added.
