Pakistan’s armed forces have intercepted and destroyed 25 Harop drones of Israeli origin, deployed by India since last night, according to a statement from public relations between services (ISPR).
The army said that he used “soft” techniques (electronic countermeasures) and “hard” (direct fire power) to neutralize drones effectively.
The announcement occurred hours after another strike of non -manned aircrafts near Lahore wounded four to Pakistan army staff and partially damaged military team, according to DG ISPR.
The ISPR added that the last escalation of Drones of India reflects “a state of panic” after the successful reprisals of Pakistan to the air attacks of May 6, which resulted in the fall of five advanced combat planes, several drones and the death of the Indian soldiers.
Speaking at a press conference, General Chaudhry said the drone was the 13th launched by India in the last 48 hours and had “partially involved a military objective near Lahore.”
In a separate incident in the Miano area of the province of Sindh, a civilian was killed and another injured as a result of the activity of in progress. In addition, flight operations in Lahore, Islamabad and Sialkot have resumed according to the Pakistan Airport Authority (PAA), after a temporary suspension due to the growing security concerns.
In a statement on Thursday, Paa spokesman Saifullah Khan confirmed that airports were “now available for flight operations” and advised passengers to keep in touch with their respective airlines for updated flight schedules.
