The Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) has announced the postponement of its protest scheduled for Friday.
PTI General Secretary Salman Akram Raja announced that the party has decided to hold its public rally on September 21, whether it gets a no-objection certificate (NOC) or not. “Us [PTI] “They are not petrified by fascism and ready to face prison, but they will hold a public demonstration in the provincial capital on September 21,” he said.
Meanwhile, the party announced to hold a seminar in connection with Eid Milad-un-Nabi (SAW) on September 17 (Tuesday). The party has instructed all its leaders and workers to participate in large numbers in the seminar and public demonstrations.
Earlier, the PTI had announced holding public rallies in the provincial capital after Friday prayers. The party announced that PTI assembly members and ticket holders would lead public protests to pressure the government for the release of PTI founder Imran Khan and other leaders and workers.
