With Computex 2025 now just a few days away, we can expect a lot of new PC hardware ads soon, and fortunately, Acer has already begun that, with its new Swift laptops and aspire to lists to get to the market for consumers as soon as June and, in the case of those below, in July.
While there are many new approaching devices, we have selected Cherry some in particular that stand out more; The Acer Swift X 14, Swift X 14 AI, The Swift Go 16 AI and the Acer Aspire 16 AI (Intel).
All these new laptops share similar specifications, such as processors that are built to provide great performance in several scenarios, including games, the most important thing for AI workloads such as co -pilot+ PC. But here are the four main things you need to know about the new laptops of Acer …
1.
Once again, OLED is receiving the attention he deserves, and Acer is using OLED panels in a wide range of his new laptops, fortunately, all these selected laptops are among them.
The Acer Swift X 14 AI will have an OLED 14.5 WQXGA+ (2880 x 1800) touch screen, which will also take advantage of the VESA DisplayHDR True Black 500 certification. It is ideal for a precise image quality with deep blacks, with a minimum of 500 nits of brightness.
Acer Swift Go 16 AI will go slightly differently, with an OLED Wuxga+ (2048 x 1280) 16 -inch screen. Use a low resolution panel, but to compensate for the difference in graphic capabilities (in which I will get in soon).
With Acer Aspire 16 AI, only one of the configurations presents an OLED screen (2048 x 1200); Unlike Swift X 14 AI, it will not be a touch screen, but its IPS configuration will.
2. All of them will be powerful game machines, especially the swift x 14 ai
I must keep in mind that these are not laptops, since they are made for creators who use tools such as Copilot+. However, both processors and GPUs (including IGPU) are powerful enough to obtain great games.
Acer Swift X 14 AI will be the most powerful among the group; NVIDIA RTX 5070 configurations (the portable GPU, including Nvidia Studio controllers) and the Ryzen AI 9 365 processor of AMD will be available, which are capable of great performance in the creative work loads of AI and games. His counterpart that is not AI (Swift x 14) will present the Core Ultra 9 285h processor of Intel.
Although the swift go 16 AI and aspire 16 AI will not have discrete GPU, both will be fed (depending on the configuration) of Intel’s Core Ultra 7 258v, the same processor and IGPU of 140V of ARC presented on the Gaming Handheld MSI Claw 8 AI+ Hadheld PC, known for its great games.
3. Swift Go AI models are among the most thin and lightweight laptops
Although it includes a powerful processor, fast Wi-Fi 7 connectivity and an OLED screen, Acer states that Swift Go (its 14-inch model in particular) is “as light as 15.9 mm and as light as 1.39 kg”. In a nutshell, this means that it will be one of the thinnest and light portable computers of Acer, easy to travel and pack, even with its 14 -inch screen size.
It is a similar story with the Swift Go 16 AI. While it is not exactly as thin or light as its counterpart, only 1.6 kg weighs, which should not be sufficient.
Both will also take advantage of a “battery life of all day”, ensuring that a rhythm is not lost during productive and creative workflows, and will have a 64WH battery that should last 16 hours (probably with adjusted levels or shine configurations).
4. They will be available from July in August
These new Acer portable computers will already arrive in July; The Acer Swift X 14 AI (and Swift X 14) will be available in Europe in July, from € 1,799 – prices in North America and Australia have not yet been announced, but that becomes around $ 2,015 / £ 1,515 / au $ 3,140.
Unlike Swift X 14 AI, the Acer Swift Go 16 AI will be available in Europe in August, from € 1,299, again, prices in North America and Australia have not been announced, but that becomes around $ 1,455 / £ 1,095 / au $ 2,27)
Similarly, Aspire 16 AI (Intel) will be available in Europe in August, from € 1,099 as the cheapest in the group; Again, prices are not currently known in North America and Australia, but that is equivalent to around $ 1,230 / £ 925 / AU $ 1,920.
It is worth noting that the price of each laptop will vary according to the chosen configuration, which varies in processors, GPUs, RAM, storage and screen.
