IT: Welcome to Derry Finally it has a first -sight advance, and it seems that it is already being configured to be one of the best HBO Max shows.
Stephen King’s highly anticipated prequel has been mocked for a while, but we had only had casting ads and some teaser images. Now, however, we know much more about the series, which will be released at the end of this year: HBO says that “this fall” comes, with an exact launch date it is still confirmed.
Take a look at the disturbing new trailer next, which takes us back to the damn fictitious city of Derry, and presents some of the residents who have the bad luck of being persecuted by their dark secrets.

What else do we know about it: Welcome to Derry?
As for the plot, we know that IT: Welcome to Derry It is set in 1962, 27 years before the events of Bill Skarsgård led HE Films, which premiered in 2017 and 2019 respectively.
Once again, we will meet the murderous entity known as Pennywise The Clown (although, of course, it can take many forms), which emerges every 27 years to take advantage of Derry’s children and feed on their fear.
IT: Chapter one and Chapter two: They were directed by Andy Muschietti, who is also the creator of this next adaptation of HBO Max. He joins his sister Barbara Muschietti and IT: Chapter twoThe screenwriter, Jason Fuchs, who serves as cookers in the series of nine parts.
As well as Bill Skarsgård repeating his role, the IT: Welcome to Derry The cast also includes Jovan Adepo, Chris Chalk, Taylour Paige, James Remar and Stephen Rider, as local residents of Derry, currently, the only role -appointed role is Skarsgård’s.
“This is a book that we love a lot, and we felt that there was still a lot of history to cover,” Andy and Barbara Muschietti said to Entertainment Weekly.
“He is so rich with characters and events, we think we would do justice to the book and fans returning to this world. Specifically, we are telling the stories of the interludes, writings of Mike Hanlon based on his research that includes interviews he does with the elderly in the city.
“In Welcome to DerryWe play the usual themes that were discussed in the film (friendship, loss, the power of unified belief), but this story also focuses on the use of fear as a weapon, which is one of the things that is also relevant to our times. “
IT: Welcome to Derry It marks the fifth time that Stephen King’s best selling novel has been adapted for the screen, but this is the first story of the prequel. With much more tradition to explore, I really want to see how this series develops.
