The Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs, Ishaq Dar, said that Pakistan is not in a hurry to keep the conversations with India, but ready for dialogue if New Delhi shows seriousness.
Giving Pakistan’s narration about the Kashmir dispute that went to the press conference in Islamabad, said that Pakistan’s narrative about Kashmir’s dispute has been based on the truth and that Pakistan has successfully counteracted the position of India. “We are not cowards like India; Pakistan’s responses were completely transparent,” he said.
“We never beg the world or any other country because of the high fire; they were doing it on their own. There should be dialogue, but it must be between the two countries. When India is ready, we will also be ready. We do not need to beg anyone, as we did not do it for the high fire,” he added.
Deputy PM explained that the recent stop the fire along the control line (LOC) secured after a call from the United States Secretary of State, Marco Rubio, and India agrees first, followed by Pakistan.
“El Alto El Fuego is progressing successfully in the phases, although it is unfortunate that the Minister of Defense of a neighboring country discards it as a mere trailer, saying that the true story still to arrive. The true honor lies in making peace,” he added.

Highlighting China’s support to Pakistan’s position on Kashmir, the DPM said that Chinese leadership agrees that the non -resolved Kashmir dispute is the central cause of regional tension. “We have exposed the falsehoods of India on global platforms, and the world no longer blindly believes its statements,” he added.
Dar described his recent visit to China as an extraordinary trip with bilateral meetings and a trilateral consulting session with China and Afghanistan, confirming the complete implementation of the decisions taken at the Kabul meeting of April 19.
He said he celebrated key meetings with Chinese delegations on Tuesday. On Wednesday, he participated in a trilateral meeting with the foreign ministers of Pakistan, China and Afghanistan, focusing on Afghan refugees, regional security and commerce. The three countries agreed to prevent their territories from being used for terrorism.
The DPM pointed out China’s preparation to launch CPEC-II in association with the current government and thanked Beijing for his support in the IMF rescue package.
Remembering the progress in the Pakistan-Fanganistan rail traffic project initiated under the previous government of the Pakistan Democratic Movement (PDM), giving said that Uzbekistan was also taken to the plan. “Discussions with China indicate that they are willing to invest in this railway traffic initiative,” he added.

He said that the rail project involving Pakistan, Afghanistan and Uzbekistan is about to finish the completion. Countries also discussed the Belt and Road initiative through Afghanistan and the Peshawar-Kabul road project.
“If China builds the Peshawar-Kabul highway, access to Central Asia will become easier, and the Gwadar port will enter completely operational,” said the DPM.
When addressing regional security, giving the recent deadly attack on a school bus in Khuzdar, Baluchistan, qualifying the heartbreaking incident. He promised that the days of terrorists in the region are numbered and committed to eliminating them soon.
“We cannot change our neighbors,” he said, adding that diplomatic, commercial and other issues in China were discussed in China. He stressed that the territory of Afghanistan should not be used against Pakistan for terrorism.
With regard to Afghan refugees, DAR announced a new policy that offers a multiple input visa of one year with a $ 100 processing rate. Pakistan is moving towards a single document system to rationalize the refugee registry.

In multilateral cooperation, Dar revealed that China is establishing an important international mediation organization, modeled after the Asian Infrastructure Investment Bank (AIIB), to have its headquarters in Hong Kong.
He confirmed plans to extend the CPEC-II to Afghanistan, including the construction of highways from Karachi to Hyderabad and Sukkur, and a road from Peshawar to Kabul. This infrastructure will open commercial corridors through Uzbekistan to Central Asia, activating the port of Gwadar as a regional center.
Giving criticized the Association of South Asia for Regional Cooperation (SAARC), saying that it has failed due to the “monopolistic stubbornness” of a country, referring to India. He suggested to integrate SAARC countries into the Belt and Road (BRI) initiative to form a stronger regional bloc.
“The improvement of Karachi’s railway lines to Peshawar and linking Central Asia through Gwadar could mark the new economic growth for Pakistan and the region in general,” he said.
