The Oklahoma City Thunder took a dominant advantage of the 2-0 series in the western conference finals, but did not arrive without some tensions increased before the final whistle.
OKC was defeating the Minnesota Timberwolves 102-86 with just over six minutes to the end. The New York Knicks recently demonstrated that this was not an insurmountable advantage.
However, the wolves were frustrated with their performance, and a player went after the NBA MVP.

Shai Gilgous-Alexander was on the court only 24 hours after receiving the prestigious honor, the first of his career, and reminded people of why he deserved it with 38 points.
However, Jaden McDaniels pushed him from behind, which resulted in a flagrant foul 1.
Several players had to separate from each other.
McDaniels wanted a foul to Gilgeous-Alexander for grabbing McDaniels’s arm, which McDaniels took reprisals. After the game, McDaniels said he later wanted to get the MVP “really.”

“I wasn’t even angry. I just had fouls to use,” McDaniels explained, through CBS Sports.
The Thunder won the game, 118-103, and now they are two victories to make their first NBA finals since 2012.
Jalen Williams had 26 points and 10 rebounds, and Chet Holmgren added 22 points for Thunder.
Minnesota closed within 10 in the final period, but Oklahoma City kept the Timberwolves at late.
Anthony Edwards scored 32 points, but took 26 shots to get them. Jaden McDaniels scored 22 points, and Nickeil Alexander-Walker added 17 for the Timberwolves.

Now, Minnesota goes homewhere 4-1 are in the playoffs. Game 3 is Saturday in Minneapolis.
