Islamabad:
The general director of Public Relations between Services (ISPR), Lieutenant General Ahmed Sharif Chaudhry reaffirmed on Sunday that the Pakistani nation and its armed forces have always joined in front of external threats and will continue to do so.
When addressing students from several Khyber-Pakhtunkhwa universities, the main army spokesman pointed out recent tensions with India, emphasizing the collective resolution shown by the nation.
“They [India] I thought we would attack and Pakistan would not respond. You saw how everyone was behind your country. The whole Pakistan was united and, by the almighty grace, this iron wall was erected, “he said, referring to the national unity witnessed during the last confrontation with India after Pahalgam’s attack.
Lieutenant General Chaudhry said that all the assumptions of India, including the facts by Prime Minister Narendra Modi, were exhaustively refuted by the timely and effective response of Pakistan.
He detailed the retaliation steps of Pakistan after the attacks on May 6 and 7, revealing that the head of the Misscal of the Army Chief (COAS) also had ordered an answer aimed at 26 Indian positions.
The ISPR chief revealed that Pakistan had successfully destroyed the headquarters of the Brigade of the Indian Unit responsible for the bombing that martyred a seven -year -old boy, Istaza, in Muzaffrabad, Azad Jammu and Kashmir (AJK).
In addition, he said that the Indian air bases from which the airplanes had launched strikes on May 6 and 7 were also among the neutralized objectives during the operation.
Contrasting Pakistan’s behavior with that of his adversary, the DG ISPR said that the military adhered to international laws and norms.
“Did you do [Pakistan] The army addresses any civil infrastructure, is any civilian population? No, “he asked the students.
“We are lovers of peace and prefer peace as our first option,” he added, warning India that any repetition of such aggression would find an even more fierce response. “
Regarding regional terrorism, Lieutenant General Chaudhry said that India was orchestrating and financing destabilizing activities throughout South Asia, including Pakistan.
He said that the perpetrators of attacks against mosques and the slaughter of innocent civilians had no connection with Islam or traditions of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa or Pashtun culture.
“These terrorists are followers of India,” he said.
He also referred to a militant figure, Khargi Noorwali, criticizing him for justifying collaboration with non -Muslims under the appearance of religious legitimacy.
“He states that Shariah allows us to seek help from non -believers. But in Islam, truth and falsehood they cannot exist together,” said Ispr.
“You are looking for help from India, a country where the dignity of Kashmir girls is violated,” he added.
Speaking about Afghanistan, Lieutenant General Chaudhry emphasized that Pakistan saw his western neighbor as a “fraternal Islamic country”, while criticizing elements within the Afghan elite to enable anti-pakistan activities.
