The rivalry of the New York Knicks and Indiana Pacers has reached a new level with a fan accused for allegedly stabbing two Knicks fans earlier this month.

Jarrett Funke, a 24 -year -old from Carmel, Indiana, has been accused of three serious crimes for his alleged actions in a local brewery during game 2 of the East Conference finals: drums through a deadly weapon, the battery that results in serious bodily injuries and criminal imprudence committed with a deadly weapon, according to online records.

Funke, according to Fox 59, allegedly altered, which caused a 911 call, but had left the establishment. An employee of the brewery called the police again, saying that Funke had returned, the person he called said Funke stabbed someone on his back.

The police found two people with sharp wounds when they arrived at the scene, one that had been stabbed in the back and another in the leg.

One of the victims told the Police that he had “briefly shown a black folding pocket knife to deter (Funke) but that he repeated it, since he had no intention of using it.” Funk supposedly knocked down a Knicks hat of one of the victims and began to curse him.

The fever coach sees the silver lining as Caitlin Clark.

According to the reports, Funke said that “he recovered his razor from his hood in his sweatshirt and turned it to (one of the Knicks fans) with his right hand” after one of the Knicks fans pushed him to the ground and “began hitting him in the face.”

Funke said the Knicks fans began the uproar, but the judicial documents say that multiple witnesses tagged Funke as the “main aggressor.”

The Pacers won the game to lead 2-0 in the series, but New York returned from a 20-point deficit for the third time this playoffs to win their first game in the series on Sunday night.

This is the ninth meeting between the Knicks and the Pacers in the playoffs, with four arriving during the 1990s. They also met in the semifinals of the East Conference last year.
