The security forces killed at least five terrorists belonging to the Indian power, Fitna al Khawarij, in two separate operations based on intelligence in the province of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa on June 15 and 16, said the military media wing on Monday.
According to public relations between services (ISPR), four terrorists were killed during a raid in the Peshawar district after the troops surrounded a place, according to the reports, which housed Khawarij sponsored by the Indians.
“After an intense fire exchange, four khwarij sponsored by the Indians, including Kharji Haris and Kharji Baseer, were sent to hell,” said the statement.
In a second operation in Waziristán del Norte, another terrorist was killed in a shooting with the troops. The army said that weapons, ammunition and explosives were recovered from the terrorists, who had been involved in “numerous terrorist activities” in the region.
Disinfecting operations were launched in both areas to eliminate the remaining threats, the statement added. “Pakistan security forces are determined to eliminate the threat of terrorism sponsored by the country’s Indians,” said Ispr.
President Asif Ali Zardari and Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif praised the security forces for what they described as a successful operation against Fitna al Khawarij.
“The operations against Fitna al Khawarij will continue to the complete elimination of terrorism of the country,” said President Zardari. Prime Minister Sharif said: “Antihuman terrorists will have to pay a high price to endanger lives and ownership of innocent people.”
