Pakistan International Airlines (PIA) has suspended its flight operations to Qatar, Bahrain, Kuwait and Dubai due to the growing security concerns in the Gulf region.
The development occurs after Iran carried out a “devastating and powerful” missile attack against the US air bases in Qatar and Iraq in retaliation for the attacks of the United States in their nuclear sites.
According to PIA spokesman, the decision was made in the light of the “war situation” that develops in several Gulf states. PIA said the operations would resume once the conditions return to normal.
