Axis of oppression

The spring of 2025 witnessed two wars of aggression: the attacks of India in May against Pakistan and Israel against attacks against Iran in June. The causes, trajectories and results of the two wars were very different, but there are similarities that deserve recognition and response.

One, both constituted a unilateral use of force in contravention of the UN Charter and International Law. Two, both aggressions were carried out on the basis of a fake and “built” casus.

Three, the underlying objective of both was to establish regional hegemony, in southern Asia and the Middle East, respectively. Four, both aggressors are states that occupy, oppress and deny self -determination to occupied peoples: the cunemirs and the Palestinians, respectively.

Five, the extremist leaders of both states have expressed their hatred towards Muslims (with the Israeli calling the “human animals” Palestinians and the Indians call them “cockroaches” and other epithets).

Six, both India and Israel encouraged each other in their respective aggressions. Seven, its modus operandi (sabotage, infiltration, misinformation, murder, air attacks) are almost identical. Eight, most importantly, the two are military allies, weapons, technologies, intelligence and operational support are supplied.

Although Pakistan has scrupulously refrained from getting involved militarily in Arab-Israeli and Iran-Israel conflicts, Israel has not corresponded this moderation. His role in helping the occupation of Kashmir for India is no secret; Israel is one of India’s main arms suppliers.

Israeli drones were used to attack Pakistan in May. The Israeli prime minister is registered as stating that Israel’s objectives are: “First I will and then Pakistan.”

It was now widely informed that it was discovered that Indian personnel in Iran acted as Israeli agents that allowed the objective murders of Iran’s military and nuclear scientists and the bombardment of their nuclear and military facilities.

A few years ago, Qatar granted death sentences to eight Indian naval staff who is spying on Israel. It should be presumed that the extension of infiltration and Indian-Israeli malware in Arab countries is extensive.

Pakistan must extract appropriate lessons from Iran’s experience and recent events. Among other steps, Islamabad must completely protect its strategic capacities and facilities, guarantee hostile infiltration through intensive staff and further improve their defenses against missiles, drones, electronic and other attacks at the subconventional, conventional and strategic level.

It is also vital to protect against the offer or accept any concession in future negotiations with India or others that may lead to compromising the strategic abilities of Pakistan or their sovereign right to develop any essential ability to maintain complete spectrum deterrence.

As illustrated in the four -day war with India, Pakistan’s strategic cooperation with the ‘Iron brother’ remains critical to guarantee the determination of a sustained and credible full spectrum against India or other external threats.

This strategic cooperation must continue and extend to all areas of mutual security concern. The promotion of good relations with other powers should never be allowed to compromise this strategic relationship with China.

Pakistan and the entire Islamic world must take into account this axis of oppression. There is already an agreement that Israel must account for its genocide in Gaza. Any step towards normalization with Israel must be conditional for the creation of a Palestinian state.

In the same way, India must also account for its crimes in Jammu and Kashmir of the illegally occupied Indians (Iiojk) and their unilateral use of force against Pakistan. And the world community must be mobilized to convince

India to resolve the Kashmir dispute in accordance with the resolutions of the UN Security Council and comply with the Indo Water Treaty.

In the light of recent revelations, Arab and Muslim countries would be wise to review their cooperation with India, especially in the defense and IT sectors. They must build the organization of the Safety Architecture of Islamic Cooperation (OIC), as proposed by Pakistan, to mobilize mutual support. The proposal for regional security agreements, advanced by Iran, also deserves close consideration.

Finally, Pakistan and related ideas must act to rebuild legal, political and moral defenses against aggression and unilateral use of force and advance the concept of equal and indivisible security for all states.

To this end, the proposals could advance in the UN and elsewhere for the adoption of: a treaty that reaffirms the principle of non -use or threat of force; The ME Nuclear Weapon free zone and the International Convention on Negative Security guarantee non -nuclear weapons states (proposed by Pakistan).
