NAQVI again rejected President Oter.

Islamabad:

Interior Minister Mohsin Naqvi was rejected on Thursday the speculation in social networks, which suggests the expulsion of President Asif Ali Zardari, calling them without foundation.

In a statement published in its official X account (previously Twitter), Naqvi defended the unity between the country’s political and military leadership.

He firmly denied any discussion or intention about the president’s resignation or a leadership change.

He described the rumors as “malicious campaign” aimed at discrediting President Asif Ali Zardari, Prime Minister Shahbaz Sharif and the Chief of Mariscal of the Army Personnel Field (COA), general also Munir, affirms that there is no truth for the statements to suggest political mergers or changes in leadership.

“We are fully aware of who is behind the malicious campaign addressed to President Asif Ali Zardari, Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif and the head of the Army staff,” Naqvi wrote in X.

Referring to speculation that suggests that President Zardari has been asked to resign or that COAS is looking for presidency, the Interior Minister said that “there has been no discussion, nor such an idea exists.”

“I have categorically declared that there has been no discussion, nor is such an idea about the president who is asked to resign or coa that they aspire to assume the presidency,” he said.

“The president of Pakistan enjoys a strong and respectful relationship with the leadership of the Armed Forces,” said the minister.

He quoted President Zardari as “clearly” declared: “I know who is spreading these falsehoods, why they are doing it and who benefits from this propaganda.”

Naqvi emphasized that the “only approach” of the head of the staff of the Army personnel, also Munir, was the strength and stability of Pakistan, and “nothing more.”

“For those involved in this narrative, do what you want in collaboration with hostile foreign agencies. As for us, we will do what is necessary for Pakistan to be strong again, Inshallah,” added Naqvi.

Naqvi made similar statements in Sukkur last week, telling journalists who do not believe in the rumors of social networks. “Some people are disturbed by our unit.”

He stressed that the alignment between the political leadership of Pakistan, the Army and the Government is the reason for the growing propagation of misinformation. “For the first time, politicians, government and military establishment are on the same page, and that bothers certain people.”

The Popular Party of Pakistan (PPP) also issued a statement to rest to speculation about the possible elimination of President Zardari.
