Baluchistan’s prime minister, Mir Sarfaraz Bugti, has firmly condemned the brutal murder of passengers in the Sardhaka area, promising that justice would be served and that the culprits would be responsible.
“We will crush each horror plan with all its strength, unwavering resolution and a complete unit,” CM Bugti said in a statement.
At least nine passengers were traveling in coaches to Punjab were kidnapped and killed by unidentified men in the Sardhaka area on Thursday night.
The incident took place near Zhob, a city in northern Baluchistan, where the armed assailants arrested the passenger buses, eliminated the passengers and identified and selectively executed nine individuals.
The Assistant Commissioner Zhob, Naveed Alam, said the attackers opened fire against the kidnapped passengers after moving them away from the vehicles.
Baluchistan’s government spokesman Shahid Rind, confirmed the incident and said the terrorists had taken out the buse passengers, identified them and then killed nine innocent Pakistani.
The murder of defenseless civilians is an obvious example of the barbarism of the Fitna al-Hindustan, he said.
In the statement, CM Balochistan described the law as an “unforgivable crime” and expressed solidarity with the families of the victims. He reiterated the commitment of the provincial government to combat terrorism in all forms.
He said that the terrorists had once again revealed their cowardly and bestial nature, and added that the blood of the innocents would not go in vain.
CM Bugti promised to dismantle all terrorist networks associated with fitna-e-hindustan. “Our answer will be hard and decisive,” he added, emphasizing that this was a war against the State.
The bodies of nine passengers killed in a tragic incident in Lorealai, Baluchistan, were received at the border of Baluchistán-Punjab, confirmed Commissioner DG Khan.
The victims, all the residents of several districts in Punjab, were delivered to local officials in the Bowata border area by the political assistant Asad Chandia, he said.
PM does not acquire piety for terrorists
Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif firmly condemned the kidnapping and murder of bus passengers in the Sardhaka area of Baluchistan, promising the blood of innocent people.
“We will deal with terrorists with all their strength. The blood of innocent people will avenge,” said the prime minister in a statement issued by the Prime Minister’s office.
“With resolution, unity and strength, we will confront the scourge of terrorism and wear it completely,” he added.
‘Indian proxies behind the attack’
Talk with Geographical news On Friday, the provincial government spokesman Shahid Rind said that the attack was not an isolated event: it is a continuation of past incidents where innocent citizens had been deliberately attacked by the representatives of India, including Fitna al-Hindustan.
He said the terrorists launched separate attacks in the areas of Mastung, Kalat and Saradagai of the province earlier in the day. However, he emphasized, all attacks were successfully repelled by security forces in Mastung and Kalat.
The Government has established a SAP set for the safety of these passenger buses, he said, adding that the night trip was prohibited on the N-70.
He also confirmed that a general terrorist threat had already been issued, after which security and mastung were reinforced, and passenger trains were forbidden to travel a day before. However, there was no threat to the area where the incident occurred, he added.
The terrorist groups backed by the Indians have been active in Baluchistan, especially after the defeat in the recent war against Pakistan. The main army leadership, today, also promised to take decisive and holistic actions at all levels against Indian and sponsored Indians.
In May, Pakistan saw a slight increase in militant attacks, even when the main military tensions with the Indian neighbor failed to trigger a significant escalation in the violence of extremist groups.
The data published by the Institute of Conflict and Safety Studies (PETs) based in Islamabad indicate a 5% increase in attacks compared to April, although the general image suggests that militant groups remained largely contained despite the regional geopolitical climate.
According to PICSS monthly security evaluation, May registered 85 militant attacks, a marginal increase of 81 in April.
These incidents resulted in 113 deaths, including 52 security forces, 46 civilians, 11 militants and four members of the Peace Committees. The month also saw 182 injured people, who comprise 130 civilians, 47 security personnel, four militants and a member of the Peace Committee.
While the total number of attacks only saw a modest increase, a deeper immersion in the figures reveals some worrying trends.
Baluchistan and KP remained the most affected provinces, representing 82 of the 85 attacks throughout the country.
Baluchistan experienced the highest level of violence, with 35 militant attacks that left 51 people who included 30 civilians, 18 security personnel and three militants and 100 injured (94 civilians, five security personnel, a militant).
