QUETTA:
Baluchistan’s prime minister, Mir Sarfraz Bugti, has urged human rights organizations to build an impartial narrative and based on events of history, current realities and the general situation of Baluchistan.
In a meeting with a delegation of the Pakistan Human Rights Commission (HRCP) in the Secretariat of the main minister in Quetta, the CM of Baluchistan said that the current narrative nationally and internationally with respect to Baluchistan is inconsistent with the facts and needs review to reflect a balanced and precise perspective.
The meeting included in -depth discussions on law and order, human rights conditions and social development initiatives of the province.
In the history of history, Bugti stressed that Kalatan’s adhesion to Pakistan was based on a mutual agreement instead of coercion, adding certain deliberately distorted groups historical facts to deceive those who are not familiar with the true history of the region.
Referring to recent terrorist incidents, he condemned the objective murder of innocent citizens based on their identity, qualifying it as a broader agenda by hostile foreign powers, particularly in India.
“These terrorist acts have nothing to do with a struggle for rights, but they are part of an organized attempt to destabilize and divide Pakistan,” said the CM of Baluchistan, adding that the supporters of these groups have openly expressed their intentions on several national and international platforms.
Questioning the legitimacy of such violent acts, Bugti asked: “What kind of movement of rights implies killing people based on their ethnic identity?”
The CM of Baluchistan, Mir Sarfraz Bugti, said that these elements rejected the dialogue and talked openly about the Division of Pakistan, a mentality that was unacceptable in any state or civilized society.
