Torrential rains claim three more lives in Punjab, declared an emergency

Previously, Prime Minister Maryam Nawaz, in a statement shared in X (previously Twitter), confirmed that he had declared a rain emergency.

She ordered local governments to remain vigilant, issue warnings through sirens and ads, and guarantee timely assistance to the areas affected by floods.

The authorities continue to monitor the evolutionary weather situation, while emergency response equipment remain on a maximum alert.
