- Aokzoe Mini PC boasts a red rocket button without a clear functional explanation
- The brand overwhelm the chassis, with fashion words that replace useful technical or design explanations
- The processor has real muscle, but the product direction feels uncertain and unfocused
Aokzoe has announced its first mini pc promoted by the new AI AI Max+ 395 of AMD will soon be launched worldwide.
The company has remained vague about the key technical details, but the announcement has drawn attention for its daring design and its ambiguous brand.
The mini PC has been previously prior to terms such as “AI PC”, “A IPC” and “Hypermind Drive” stamped on its surfaces, leaving its final uncertain name.
Design options raise questions about purpose and practicality
This device is visually striking with a design that boasts of aggressive angles, bright reflexes and a red “rocket” inexplicable rocket, which feels like a personalized or programmable function button, possibly for the performance mode.
The mini PC often lean towards discreet forms, but Aokzoe has adopted the opposite approach.
The brand is everywhere, with great text and graphics that dominate the chassis, which raises doubts about whether this machine is intended as a functional commercial PC or a striking collector piece.
Speculation has intensified due to the inclusion of the Ryzen AI Max+ 395, a high -end APUST Halo.
This processor is part of AMD’s impulse in Improved computing with AI and has only recently begun to appear in compact desks.
Although it has an attraction for demanding tasks such as the creation of content, the lack of detailed specifications of AOKZOE makes it difficult to measure if this mini PC can serve realistically as a capable video editing PC or handle long typical work sessions in commercial environments.
At this point, hardware potential seems to overcome the clarity of the product.
However, from the official images, the front panel of this device includes a USB4 or Thunderbolt port marked with a light bolt icon just before the “Rocket” red button.
The following is a full-size SD card reader, a USB-C port, two USB-A ports (they probably differ in speed) and a 3.5 mm audio connector for headphones or microphone use.
The company will officially confirm the specifications of this device intermittently through social networks, avoiding formal launch deadlines or performance reference points.
While a global launch has been promised, possible buyers have little more than vague representations and labels to evaluate.
For now, it is difficult to say whether the product is taken seriously the computer science or simply plays with images and fashion words.
Although Aokzoe’s approach is not unique, other brands such as Gmktec and Aoostar are also introducing systems based on Strix Halo.
The tastes of HP Z2 Mini G1A, GMKTEC EVO-X2, NEX395 of Aoostar and many more have already been announced.
But these devices are generally not cheap, they are often sold between the price range of $ 1500 and $ 2000.
