Abbie Chatfield has shared her thoughts on a thoughtful gift she received from Australian singer Keli Holiday.
On her Instagram, she posted an emotional video of unpacking the Christmas present and captioned it: “Merry Christmas” and also tagged it.
While revealing a horseshoe pendant, the model became emotional and began: “I have never cried so much over a gift. Thanks love.”
Reflecting on replicating her late grandmother’s pendant, Chatfield continued, “That would have taken a lot of planning, and it also looks like the color of Grandma’s eyes.”
“Adam never got to meet my grandmother, but he knows how much she means to me. “My mom has worn my grandmother’s horseshoe necklace since she passed away.”
She highlighted her boyfriend’s effort, telling her fans: “So Adam made a custom horseshoe necklace for me.”
“My grandmother was my favorite person in the world and a big reason for the beliefs I hold so strongly,” the 29-year-old spoke about her attachment to her late grandmother.
“She was an orphan who became a dentist in Queensland in the 1950s, 30 years before women could have bank accounts.”
“Adam hears about her every day and wanted to give me something that would remind me of her. “He called my mom to help him design the necklace.”
“I went back and forth with my favorite jewelry designer to make it perfect,” she added before signing off.
For those who don’t know, Abbie Chatfield and Keli Holiday have confirmed that they will be dating in June 2024.
