The spirits exploded during a basketball match of a high school in Georgia this month. The heated moment seemed to cause a physical altercation between players of opposite teams.
TMZ reported that the fight in question occurred during a game between Sonoraville High School and Rockmart High School on January 3 in Calhoun, Georgia. Calhoun is approximately 70 miles from the center of Atlanta.
A video posted on social networks seemed to show an unidentified Rockmart player pushing one of Sonoraville’s athletes to the ground. Rockmart athlete immediately hit Sonoraville’s player on his face immediately after he regained his balance.

Later the rockmart player was seen hitting a player other than the opposing team.

Sonoraville’s second player was reached after running towards the fight. The spectators could be heard between the crowd making noises while reacted to the situation. The video also showed some individuals moving from the stands to the area of the court to intervene.
An incident report of the Gordon County Sheriff’s office suggested that a rockmart player was caused by the repeated use of a racial insult by the player of the opposing team.
The teenager who seemed to start physical contact during the incident faces two positions of simple aggression, according to the police report. The brawl exploded during the third quarter of the game.
Rockmart High School and Sonoraville High School officials have not yet offered public comments about the incident.
