- A detailed specifications leak includes the possible dimensions and weight of the galaxy z fold 7 and z flip 7
- It also includes screen details, battery, camera and chipset
- If this is correct, then these phones could be substantial updates
Just yesterday we saw some unofficial renders that show how thin the Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 7 and the Samsung Galaxy Z Flip 7, and now a filter has revealed the possible dimensions of the phone.
Setsuna Digital (through the phone of the phone) states that the Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 7 will have 8.9 mm thick when folding and only 4.2 mm thick when developing, that would be low from 12.1 mm and 5.6 mm in the Samsung Galaxy Z fold 6.
The Samsung Galaxy Z Flip 7 Meanwhile is 13.7 mm thick when folding and 6.5 mm thick when it is deployed, so this could be a thicker device, but that would still make it thinner than the Samsung Galaxy Z Flip 6, which is 14.9 mm and 6.9 mm when folding and infinted respectively.
This source also states that the Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 7 will weigh 215 g (below 239 g), and that it will have an 8 -inch folding screen and a 6.5 -inch cover screen, which would be a bit larger than that of their predecessor.
It is also said that it has a 200MP main camera (in front of 50MP in the Z FOLD 6), a 10MP front camera, a “improved armor aluminum frame” and a posterior glass-ceramic panel, while the chipset is apparently a “Snapdragon 8” series, which presumes what a Snapdragon 8 elite means, the same chips as you will find in the Samsung Galaxy series.
From the fold to flip
As for the Samsung Galaxy Z Flip 7, it is said that it weighs 188 g, which would actually do it marginally heavier than its predecessor of 187 g. Apparently, it also has a 6.9 -inch folding screen and a 4.1 -inch cover screen, which would be larger than in the current model, with the particular cover screen growing a lot from the Z FOLD 6 of 3.4 inches.
It is said that both screens have an update speed of 120 Hz, which would be an update for the deck screen, and apparently the bevel around the Samsung Galaxy Z Flip 7 screen is 1.25 mm.
This source also states that both screens have a maximum shine of 2,600 Nits, which would again be an update for the deck screen but not for the main screen, and that the battery is 4,300 mAh, compared to 4,000 mAh in the current model.
If this leak is precise, both phones could have some quite impressive updates, and as we have heard many of these details before it is likely that much of this is precise, especially because this leak has a good history.
That said, some details enter slightly in conflict with the things we have heard before; In particular, there seems to be any agreement between the fugos on the exact dimensions of the Samsung Galaxy Z fold 7.
However, we should find out how precise this escape is soon, since the next Samsung Galaxy unpacked is on July 9, and we will surely see both phones presented at the event.
