- The next hell blade The game will apparently be “more interactive” and “more gamified” than previous installments.
Ninja Theory is reportedly no longer actively working on Mara Project and now he is developing a third installment in his hell blade series.
That’s according to Windows Central editor Jez Corden on the Xbox Two podcast (via IGN), who claimed that the studio’s next project will be “more interactive.” hell blade game.
“From what I understand, the next match [from Ninja Theory] is hell blade 3“Corden said. “And it will be a little more interactive than hell blade 1 and 2.
“I don’t know what the exact nature of hell blade 3 It’s going to be like, if it’s going to be hell blade 3but it looks like it’s going to be in hell blade universe, and it sounds like they want to make it more of a ‘game,’ you know, and broaden the appeal to some extent.”
Corden also stated that the studio is not currently working on Mara Projectwhich he calls a “concept” rather than an actual game.
“You should not wait Mara Project be a thing,” he said. “Mara Project It was just a concept, it’s not a game, and it’s not a game they are [Ninja Theory] currently working. It may be something they are working on eventually, but Mara Project It is not a game that is currently being worked on. [at] Ninja Theory.”
Mara Project was announced in 2020 along with The Sage of Senua: Hellblade 2. In 2021, Ninja Theory showed off the technology powering the experimental horror game, but no gameplay was shown at the time.
Corden’s comments could have some validity, as reports from late 2024 suggested that Microsoft had already approved Ninja Theory’s next project following the release of hell blade 2. Could it be that project? hell blade 3? We’ll have to wait and see.
