Most of the rumors suggest that the Samsung Galaxy S25 EDGE will get a complete launch at some point in April, already measured the days, we get more information about what to expect from this phone, including its screen and the materials used for its frame.
According to Prolific Tipster Ice Universe (through Android Authority), the fourth phone of the S25 series will offer a 2K screen, so at least 2,000 pixels (and probably more) from the top of the screen to the bottom. It can coincide with the Galaxy S25 Plus model of 6.7 inches, which has a 3,120 x 1,080 pixels visualization resolution.
Another advice that we obtain from the same source is that Samsung will use a titanium alloy for the Samsung Galaxy S25 edge frame. That would follow the Galaxy S25 Ultra and bring additional durability and a premium sensation on the phone.
There were some speculations about the materials Samsung would use on this phone. Until now, we have only been able to look at the Galaxy S25 EDGE, not touch it, with some conversations of a ceramic back (a prediction that now does not seem to be precise).
Form and durability
We know that the Galaxy S25 Edge is real and on the way, but Samsung has said very little about any of the details that would help us evaluate its appeal, such as specifications inside or how much it will cost.
From the brief glimpses we have seen of the phone, we know that it is designed to be super thin, which is its main point of sale. The previous leaks have suggested that it could be only 5.84 mm in front of behind, which makes it substantially thinner than the standard galaxy S25, which is 7.2 mm thick.
Samsung’s mobile vice president (MX) of products and marketing in the United Kingdom, Annika Bizon, said in an exclusive chat with Techradar that this thin and light design will not be at the expense of durability, which is something that we will have to test.
We have also heard rumors about how the phone could keep temperatures and its internal components work without problems, despite their thinness. In just a few days or weeks, everything must be revealed.
