While the NFL world waits with the contained breathing to see what Aaron Rodgers will decide to do with his career as a player, he talked about the possibility of signing a day contract with the Green Bay Packers to retire with the team that chose him in the first round of the 2005 draft.
It is not uncommon for the players to return to their original team, sign an agreement of a day and finally retire. Everything is for the ceremony, of course, but if Rodgers did, apparently the ax of the perceived animosity between the Marshal of Campo Estrella and the organization would be buried.

He was asked during a Q&A during a live episode of the “Podcast Ynk” if he considered that possibility.
“There is a lot of love for me and how I feel for the team,” Rodgers said. “If I do or not (I retired with the packers), I don’t think I should make a difference. I’m not sure. If they approached me, I would probably do it.
“I have thought about that, but I don’t understand what is the reason for that. At the same time, I grew up a fan (from San Francisco 49ers) and most of my favorite players retired like an Ninener. Jerry Rice, who went to three other teams, returned and withdrew me like a child, so I understand how great, but I understand that I did not, but if I did not do it, I would make the difference in the difference in the difference in the difference in the difference in the packets.

Rodgers’ rocky relationship with the Packers ended during the low season of 2023. It was changed to New York Jets. He said previously in 2022 that he would retire with the organization provided that the team did not exchange it.
The president of the Packers, Mark Murphy, expressed his hope in 2023 that the organization would withdraw its number and bring it back “at the appropriate time.” He is ready to leave his post in the organization.
